The Nouveau RĂ©aliste artist Arman was one of the more prolific artists of the later 20th century, producing multiples in a number of media in order to disseminate his art to an as wide as possible audience. In the field of jewellery alone, he collaborated with over half a dozen jewellers including Argeco, Artcurial, Arthus-Bertrand, Filippini, F. & F. Gennaro, and Pierre Hugo to produce limited editions that followed three of his main themes: Cuttings, Accumulations and Expansions.
